PUBLIC HEARING

ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS

VILLAGE OF ORTONVILLE

Notice is hereby given that in accordance with PA 100 of 2006 a Public Hearing will be held by the Village of Ortonville Zoning Board of Appeals regarding an appeal request submitted by Jim Lane of Lane Car Company LLC located at 110 S. Ortonville Road, Ortonville, MI 48462. Lane Car Company has requested a variance to allow for a freestanding pylon sign that has a total combined sign area of 130.75 square feet total per side that includes an LED electronic message center display. Per the Village of Ortonville Zoning Ordinance, the proposed sign exceeds the allowable square footage and electronic message center displays are not allowed. Public comment will be accepted at the Village Office located at 476 Mill Street, Ortonville, MI, weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or at the Public Hearing.
