VILLAGE OF OXFORD - COUNTY OF OAKLAND, MICHIGAN
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF OXFORD, OAKLAND COUNTY,
MICHIGAN TO AMEND THE OXFORD VILLAGE CODE OF ORDINANCES,
SEC. 42-191- Skateboards, scooters, mopeds, extreme rollerblading and extreme biking and SEC. 42-192-Penalties for violation of the article and
SEC.42-193-Penalties for violation of article; parental responsibility, assisting violation of article.
THE VILLAGE OF OXFORD ORDAINS:
Sec. 42-191. - Skateboards, scooters, mopeds, extreme rollerblading and extreme biking.
Sec. 42-192. - Penalties for violation of the article; generally.
Sec. 42-193. - Penalties for violation of article; parental responsibility, assisting violation of article.
Sec. 42-191. - Skateboards, scooters, mopeds, extreme rollerblading and extreme biking. (a) Definitions. Public place, Approved facility, Skateboard, Scooter, Moped, Extreme sports, Extreme rollerblading, Extreme biking
(b)[Regulations and restrictions.]
Sec. 42-192. - Penalties for violation of the article; generally.
Any violation of the provisions of the article by anyone over the age of 17 is guilty of a misdemeanor, punishable by confiscation and possible non-return of their device(s), a declaration of ownership form must be complete, and a fine of $25.00 for the first offense and $100.00 for offenses thereafter and/or up to 200 hours of community service at the discretion of the court. (Ord. of 1-11-05(3))
Sec. 42-193. - Penalties for violation of article; parental responsibility, assisting violation of article.
(1)First offense shall be $25.00 and/or up to 50 hours of community service, at the discretion of the court.
(2)Second offense shall be $100.00 and/or up to 100 hours of community service, at the discretion of the court.
(3)Third and subsequent offenses shall be $100.00 and/or up to 200 hours of community service at the discretion of the court. (Ord. of 1-11-05(3))
