Golfers took 14th place at the Oakland County Division 1 tournament at Pontiac Country Club, May 16.

The Clarkston Boys Varsity Golf team scored a 329 with Dan Corrazza leading the team with a par of 79. Jack Alli had a par of 82; Nick Badgley, 83; Alex Genter, 85; and Jimmy Delnick, 86

Novi took first place with a score of 309.

The Clarkston Boys Varsity A Lacrosse team held onto their winning streak last Friday against Midland.

Going into the second half both teams were tied at five points a piece. The Wolves came out scoring 4-1 in the third quarter and scoring three more goals in the last quarter to win 12-6.

Jordan Kincaid and Travis Craft led the team with three goals each. Kincaid had three assists and Craft had two. Sam Moore added two for the game. Kevin Horton, Kevin O'Grady, Mike Vanderweel, Connor Ward had one goal each.

Ethan Frick, Evan Kneisel, Nick Demettia and AJ Schlaff led the defense with 13 ground balls and 15 takeaways.

The boys also beat DeLaSalle on May 15, 9-4. They outscored the visitors 6-1 in the second half to take the win.

Craft led the team with four goals. Horton added three and Kincaid had two goals. O'Grady assisted on three goals.

The wins put the Wolves at an overall 14-2 record.

The Wolves begin their playoffs on Friday, 6 p.m. The winner moves on to the next round set for May 29.
