Working hand-in-paw for a cause

It was a beautiful morning to support a worthy cause as 230 people – and countless canines – turned out Saturday to participate in the Second Annual Wag & Walk at Powell Lake Township Park in Oxford.

The event raised nearly $6,000 for the K-9 Stray Rescue League, based at 2120 Metamora Rd. in Oxford Township.

This year’s Wag & Walk featured everything from a pet psychic to fun contests. After the activities, everyone took to the Powell Lake Trail with their beloved pooches.
