TAKEN BY THE TOWNSHIP BOARD

THE CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF INDEPENDENCE

JUNE 19, 2012

A. A Special Meeting of the Charter Township of Independence Board was called to order at 6:04 PM at the Independence Township Hall.

B. The Pledge of Allegiance was given.

C. ROLL CALL: Present: Carson, Lohmeier, Pallotta, Rosso (arrived at 6:30 pm), Wallace

Absent: Petterson, Wagner

There was a quorum present.

Also Present: Carol Gabris, Human Resources Director; Steve Ronk, Fire Chief; Gregg Schultz, Schultz & Young, PC

Appointment of Acting Chair - Approved

D. APPROVAL OF AGENDA: Approved

E. AGENDA ITEMS AS STATED IN THE CALL OF THE MEETING:

1. Closed Session for Union Negotiations as permitted by MCL 15.28(c)

The Special Meeting RECESSED at 6:06 PM.

The Special Meeting RECONVENED at 7:26 PM.

F. PUBLIC COMMENT: None

G. BOARD MEMBER COMMENTS: Board members discussed various topics.

H. ADJOURNMENT: The Special Meeting adjourned at 7:26 PM.
