CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF OXFORD

OAKLAND COUNTY, MICHIGAN

To the qualified electors of the Charter Township of Oxford, County of Oakland, State of Michigan.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF OXFORD CLERK’S OFFICE, 300 DUNLAP ROAD, OXFORD, MI 48371 WILL BE OPEN:

MONDAY, JULY 9, 2012

FROM 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

LAST DAY TO REGISTER

FOR THE PURPOSE OF RECEIVING APPLICATIONS FOR THE REGISTRATION OF THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS IN OXFORD TOWNSHIP NOT ALREADY REGISTERED.

THE AUGUST 7, 2012 PRIMARY ELECTION WILL BE CONDUCTED IN ALL VOTING PRECINCTS OF THE CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF OXFORD FOR THE PURPOSE OF NOMINATING CANDIDATES FOR THE FOLLOWING OFFICE:

CONGRESSIONAL United States Senator and Representative in Congress

LEGISLATIVE Representative in State Legislature

COUNTY County Executive, Prosecuting Attorney, Sheriff, Clerk/Register of Deeds, Treasurer, Water Resources Commissioner and County Commissioner

JUDICIAL Judge of Circuit Court – 6th Circuit – Non-Incumbent position

AND FOR THE PURPOSE OF ELECTING Delegates to County Convention of the Republican and Democratic Parties, Township Supervisor, Township Clerk, Township Treasurer, Township Trustees, and Park Commissioners.

AND FOR THE PURPOSE OF VOTING ON THE FOLLOWING PROPOSAL(S):

OAKLAND COUNTY ART INSTITUTE AUTHORITY MILLAGE

Shall the Oakland County Art Institute Authority impose a 0.2 mill on all of the taxable property located within the County for a period of ten (10) years, being years 2012 though 2021?

LIBRARY MILLAGE PROPOSAL

Shall the tax limitation imposed on all taxable real and tangible personal property within the Charter Township of Oxford, Oakland County, Michigan, be increased for said Township in an amount not to exceed .4518 mill ($.4518 mill on each $1,000 of taxable value) in perpetuity beginning with the 2012 levy?
