TAKEN BY THE TOWNSHIP BOARD

THE CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF INDEPENDENCE

JUNE 25, 2012

A. A Special Meeting of the Charter Township of Independence Board was called to order at 6:02 PM at the Independence Township Hall.

B. The Pledge of Allegiance was given.

C. ROLL CALL: Present: Carson, Lohmeier, Pallotta, Rosso (arrived at 6:30 pm), Wallace

Absent: Petterson, Wagner

There was a quorum present.

Also Present: Carol Gabris, Human Resources Director; Steve Ronk, Fire Chief; Lt. Bruce Harbin, IAFF President; Gregg Schultz, Schultz & Young, PC

Appointment of Acting Chair - Approved

D. APPROVAL OF AGENDA: Consensus to approve the agenda as presented

E. AGENDA ITEMS AS STATED IN THE CALL OF THE MEETING:

1. Closed Session for Union Negotiations as permitted by MCL 15.28(c)

The Special Meeting RECESSED at 6:03 PM.

The Special Meeting RECONVENED at 6:25 PM.
