TAKEN BY THE TOWNSHIP BOARD

THE CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF INDEPENDENCE

OCTOBER 24, 2012

A. A Special Meeting of the Charter Township of Independence Board was called to order at 6:35 PM at the Independence Township Hall.

B. The Pledge of Allegiance was given.

C. ROLL CALL: Present: Lohmeier, Pallotta, Rosso, Wallace

Absent: Carson, Petterson, Wagner

There was a quorum present.

Also Present: Susan Hendricks, Finance Director; Carol Gabris, Human Resource Director; Gregg Schultz, Schultz and Young, PC

Appointment of Acting Chair - Approved

D. APPROVAL OF AGENDA: Approved

E. AGENDA ITEMS AS STATED IN THE CALL OF THE MEETING:

1. Approval to Hold a Closed Session for the purpose of Union Negotiations as permitted by MCL 15.268(c)

The meeting RECESSED at 6:38 PM

The Meeting RECONVENED at 7:17
