An evening for education

by Lance Farrell

October 31, 2012

Over 100 luminaries from across Orion Township enjoyed dinner, drinks, and dancing at the Seventh Annual Evening for Education fundraiser for Lake Orion Education Foundation (LOEF).

Held on Oct. 27 at the King’s Court Castle in Canterbury Village, the evening featured live music from Full Tilt, a silent auction, and gaming tables.

LOEF gathered $6,000 at this year’s Evening for Education. Funds raised go to local schools in the form of education grants.

If you’d like to partner with LOEF as they help Orion-area schools, their monthly meetings are held at Pine Tree Elementary at 7:00 p.m. on the first Monday of the month.
