PUBLIC HEARING on November 13, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. to consider changing the election schedule

The Village of Lake Orion Council will hold a PUBLIC HEARING on November 13, 2012 at 7:30 p.m., in the Village Council Chambers, 37 East Flint Street, Lake Orion, MI 48362, to receive public comments. The purpose of the PUBLIC HEARING is to consider changing the election schedule for the Village of Lake Orion elections.

A proposal to change the Village elections to November of even years, which will be administered by the Orion Township Clerk, is in compliance with Michigan Election Law, Sec. 168.642 on file in the Office of the Village Clerk.

Interested persons are invited to attend the public hearing and offer comments and/or ask questions. Those not able to attend may submit their comments in writing. Written comments will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at the Lake Orion Village Hall.
