Brief - Tax abatement for HiLite

The Orion Township Board approved a tax abatement for incoming HiLite International, who will locate their research and development facility at 250 Kay Industrial Drive. HiLite requested and will receive a five year tax abatement for ad valorem taxes on up to five percent on $3.125 million in personal property and real property improvements. Twenty-five engineers are to be hired at the new facility.
