NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Charter Township of Orion Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Monday, March 10, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in the lower level of the Orion Township Hall, 2525 Joslyn Road, Lake Orion, Michigan 48360, on the following matter:

AB-2014-04. John Wiegand, 4454 Maybee Road. Sidwell #09-30-100-007

The petitioner is seeking a variance from Zoning Ordinance No. 78, Article V, Section 5.07 Suburban Farms (SF) Zoning District, Minimum Lot Setbacks, Side Yard; and, Article XXVII, Section 27.05, H, 2, requesting a twentyfoot side yard variance from the required twenty-foot side yard setback, for an existing six-foot high fence, zero feet from the (side) east property line.

The petitioner is seeking two variances from Zoning Ordinance No. 78 to construct a three season room and to expand an existing deck.

1. Article VI, Section 6.07 Single Family Residential-2 (R-2) Zoning District, Minimum Lot Setbacks, Rear Yard, requesting a ten-foot variance from the required thirty-five feet to build an addition, a three season room, twenty-five feet from the rear (lakeside) lot line.

2. Article XXVII, Section 27.03, C, 3, b, iii, Projections Into Required Yards, In Rear Yards, requesting a one-foot variance from the required twenty feet to construct a deck nineteen feet from the shoreline of a lake.

2. Article Vl, Section 6.07, Single Family Residential-2 (R-2) Zoning District, Minimum Lot Setbacks, Front Yard, requesting a seventeen-foot variance from the required thirty-five feet to build an addition eighteen feet from the (front) southerly lot line.
