August 13, 2014

Goodrich- Rev up your engines for the third annual Tyler Bonner Memorial Car Show.

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Aug. 23 during Good Times in Goodrich—Erie Street is expected to be lined with more than 250 of the top street machines. The event is in memory of Tyler Bonner, a 2011 Goodrich High School graduate who died Aug. 18, 2011 from injuries sustained in a car accident. He was 19.

“We’re excited to be in downtown Goodrich for the car show,” said Dave Bonner, Tyler’s father. “It’s a great chance to check out some of the area’s top vehicles. In addition, 100 percent of the proceeds from the show will go toward a scholarship for local high school students.”

Last year more than $5,000 was donated from the event. The scholarship will assist college or trade school students with an economic need.

“The local show is an opportunity to honor Tyler and enjoy a great event.”
