There are four gas stations between Drahner and downtown Oxford. Has anyone noticed that these stations consistently charge between 20 to 30 cents more per gallon than some of the stations in Lake Orion? Are we not cost conscious or not aware? Does it cost more for the stations to receive deliveries than our neighbor to the South?
The delivery cost can't be the problem as gas is cheaper in Metamora and Lapeer. It leads to just one answer- greed.
I would like to be able to purchase goods and services in my home town at a competitive price. However, given the current price discrepancies, I will take my business elsewhere.
